The Renny Show
Your fortnightly dose of honesty and positivity with Rachel + Jenny = Renny. Two practicing Humans and Coaches, the premise of our show is that we talk about everything from socks to self-belief, and all sorts in between. We each prepare 3 questions in advance, but the questions are a complete surprise on the day to the other presenter, so it really could go anywhere; and it usually does! We also have regular guest slots on the show, so if you are INSPIRING and BRILLIANT then we'd love to have you on as a guest some time.

Episode 75 - In Conversation With David Foulkes
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This episode with David was so much fun and it was a great and eclectic mix of serious questions and really lighthearted ones.
It's a shame we didn't record the general conversation with David before and after the actual episode recording, because it was really great conversation and, quite frankly, we had a wonderful time chewing the fat with him.
So, who is David Foulkes?
He's a Presenter, Marketeer and a Memory Ambassador for new venture - Memory Makers. With many years experience as a local radio host as well as a background in customer care, David brings knowledge, kindness and an enthusiasm to the Memory Ambassador role. David works with both care providers and community groups to capture experiences that deserve to be preserved and shared.
Memory Makers is a purpose-led, ethics-driven organisation built around human connection. They help people, families, and communities preserve the voices and stories that matter most through filmed interviews, reminiscence workshops, and digital storytelling.
Their simple-to-use digital platform and UK-wide Memory Maker Partner Network enable communities to capture, record, and celebrate memories at scale, creating measurable social impact while maintaining a deeply personal approach.
Working in collaboration with care providers, community groups, schools, and local organisations, they create structured opportunities for conversation and reflection that bring generations together and foster a sense of belonging.
At its heart, Memory Makers is about connection, ensuring that every person’s story, however ordinary or extraordinary, is given the space to be shared and remembered.
They’re building a connected national network, one that values human experience, strengthens intergenerational bonds, and helps communities safeguard their living history for generations to come.
We talked to David about what it was that made him want to get involved in Memory Makers; about his life adventures so far; and where he would like to see Memory Makers go in the future.
We then gave him the usual opportunity to ask us a question each, so have a listen to see what we had to say about 'binfluencers' and 'doomscrolling', it really was an insightful and hilarious conversation.
